Thinx All Night in every brand's language
By Thinx's own published claim, its All Night tier holds 108 mL Data quality grade B, converted from tampon counts. Tier names don't transfer between brands - millilitres do. Here is the smallest tier in each other brand whose claimed capacity covers it.
The source claim
Thinx All Night: 'Absorbent layers hold up to 12 regular tampons worth' (all-night PDPs, re-verified 2026-09-05) - the identical blanket claim as All Day, with no millilitre figure published and no higher overnight figure. 108 mL is our computation, not a brand figure: 12 regular tampons at the FDA regular-absorbency ceiling of 9 g (21 CFR 801.430, greater than 6 g up to and including 9 g), which is the same 9 mL per regular tampon this table uses for Thinx's legacy ladder; the FDA floor of 6 g gives 72 mL. The 'up to 100 mL' on how-they-work is the bladder-leak line's figure (Thinx for All Leaks), stated in the FAQ answer about light bladder leaks; identical wording on the 2026-05-08 and 2026-07-03 Wayback snapshots. The 2026-06-10 verification misattributed it to the period line.
The covering tier in each brand
“Covering” means the smallest tier whose claimed maximum meets the middle of Thinx All Night's range (108 mL). Grades: A = brand publishes mL, B = converted from counts at a stated basis, C = conflicting or unconfirmed.
| Brand | Covering tier | Claimed capacity | Grade |
|---|---|---|---|
| Knix | Ultra | 63–99 mL | Data quality grade C, conflicting / unconfirmed claim |
| Modibodi | Super | 50 mL | Data quality grade A, brand publishes mL |
| Saalt | Super | 40–50 mL | Data quality grade B, converted from tampon counts |
| Proof (Proof by Always) | Overnight (Hi-Rise / Boyshort) | 45 mL | Data quality grade B, converted from tampon counts |
| Ruby Love | Period underwear (one level) | 12.5 mL | Data quality grade B, converted from tampon counts |
| The Period Company | Heavy | 45 mL | Data quality grade B, converted from tampon counts |
| Bambody | High Absorbency | 10 mL | Data quality grade C, conflicting / unconfirmed claim |
| Aisle | Super (Heavy / overnight) | 40 mL | Data quality grade A, brand publishes mL |
| WUKA | Super Heavy | 60 mL | Data quality grade A, brand publishes mL |
| Rael | Reusable Boyshort | 15–25 mL | Data quality grade C, conflicting / unconfirmed claim |
| Hanky Panky | Regular | 15 mL | Data quality grade B, converted from tampon counts |
| Skims | Period Panties Brief | 15 mL | Data quality grade B, converted from tampon counts |
All figures are the brands' own maximum-capacity claims, normalized to millilitres - claims made comparable are still claims, not lab measurements (the only blood-component study, BMJ Sexual & Reproductive Health 2023, measured far lower effective capacity than marketing figures). Sources, conversion rules, and verification dates live in the methodology.
